Park Jungsu used to live a normal life before everyone either turned or died. If you could say normal was being bullied constantly and being put down so much that it hurt to even walk outside his own house. Ever since he was a child, Jungsu has been bullied, beaten, teased, hurt, and more by those around him. His family hated him, his 'friends' hated him, even his teachers at school had to admit he wasn't their favorite student. This was very puzzling though, because Leeteuk is the sweetest, most kind-hearted boy anyone could ever meet. So why did everyone hate him? Well, most say it's because he had an 'active imagination', though they were really just using the phrase to replace 'mentally unstable'. He always told people that monsters would fly by his window at night, or really nice people with pointed ears gave him flowers. No one understood what this meant and because of it, he was shipped off to an insane asylum at the age of 11. In that place, something in him changed as he was surrounded by monsters made out of men and those who were truly insane. He became depressed. Alone. Scared. He grew up in the asylum and was taken care of by one of the old workers, a 64-year-old woman by the name of Choi Minhwa. Minhwa was the only person who ever truly cared for Leeteuk, and knew he wasn't mentally unstable, because she too could see the monsters and people with pointed ears the the young boy always talked about. When Jungsu turned 16, something terrible happened at the new place in which he lived. He could hear screams surrounding him in the night as he was suddenly jolted awake and discovered why everyone was hurting. The Vampires had started attacking. His caretaker, Minhwa, protected him as they sat together in his small room. She hugged him tightly as he listened to the screams and cries from outside. He could even hear the cries of the little girl next to him, by the name of Jina, as she was brutally murdered in her room. Though the Vampires never got to him of Minhwa, Jungsu was forever terrified of them. After the attack he and Minhwa quickly left the building to escape together, only for her to fall into the clutches of a Vampire that found them escaping just days later. Jungsu was left all alone after that, with no one to talk to, and no one to take care of him. Since the incident, he's developed paranoia and a fear of Vampires that gives him problems daily. To protect himself from Vampires, he works at as a band member for the group, Fangs of Desire. Since they always go to places like clubs and bars, his scent is masked by sweat and alcohol. Though he doesn't like it, the young 20-year-old knows it's the only way to protect himself. Ever since he started working in the band as a vocallist and bass player, his appearance has changed greatly. He has to dye his hair, wear cut out clothes, and more just to make sure no one finds out what he is. His stage name is Leeteuk and that's the only name he uses today, but he is still Park Jungsu. That sweet boy with an 'active imagination' and a heart of gold.
