Having brought up by cruel parents , Hyeonjin became one who is independent towards herself and had been the one to raise and protect her younger brother who had been 'special' . Taking care of him from being beaten up , comforting him when he changed due to attacks , bringing him to get help , was something she loved doing as her feelings for her brother weren't sisterly but motherly due to the fact she was the one to raise the young man .
