❝ WORKING HARD IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS ❞ Those were the words Mark chose to live by growing up. If he wasn't rewarded, he wasn't working hard enough. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. As a child, he didn't have the finest toys, nor the finest clothes, but was completely happy with what he possesed. He had a family that loved and supported him through life's twists and turns. He was known for his shining personality; a bright smile was always plastered on his face, and he would go out and make new friends in a blink of an eye. Though he was bullied all through his life, he learned how to it up and stand tall, thanks to the wise words of his father and the others around him.
Everything changed the day he turned eighteen His parents caught a serious illness that could only be controlled through medicine. Since both his parents could not work any longer due to the problems behind the sickness, the male had no choice but to drop out of his studies and go out into the real world to find a job. He began to work in miscellaneous areas to earn a few bills here and there, making just enough to make ends meet. Sacrificing was tough. Unfortunately, the medicine did not help whatsoever, and Mark's parents passed away weeks later. The young boy then had to learn how to deal with life in general; but how was that possible if he never had the chance to fully educate himself?
That was when he discovered something that turned out to be his passion: moving your feet.
He moved to the busy urban life and bought an apartment to reside in. Mark needed to get out of his sulky hole and start a new life as an independent young man. While passing by a couple of older ameteur street performers, he was amazed at how much passion they put into their work. He found out that the dancer inside him was there all along.
Those very same dancers took him in as family later on and taught him everything he knows today. They also do underground dance battles for cash prizes, which usually end up in violent shootings, dead bodies swimming in their own blood, and the police. He didn't mind, though. He had a new family now, why would he risk losing them too?
Not only that, but Mark is also a dance instructor. He was able to open a studio downtown near his own place and teaches everyone of all ages dance. Most often children under the age of eleven come in after their classes and ask for lessons, and Mark happily teaches them. He also makes friends with all of his students and never could pick a favorite. All he wanted to do was to show everyone how much dance could impact a person's life.
