Seohyun grew up in a happy household with loving parents and a brother who always helped her with everything. Her brother and her are very close and practically did everything together as children. They stayed close to each other through the years of middle school and high school, each protecting the other. When Seohyun told her parents of her uality, her father accepted her, but her mother did not. She kept trying to set Seohyun up on dates with boys from around the country, telling her she just had to choose to get married to one of them or give up being a dancer. Her father disapproved of what his wife was doing and put an end to it, telling Seohyun she could be whatever she wanted to be, even if she liked girls. Since her mother never wanted to accept the fact that her daughter liked the same gender, she was kicked out of the house at age 17 without her father knowing since he was off on a month long business trip. When he came back, his mother had filed a divorce, wanting nothing to do with the family anymore. By the time this had all happened, Seohyun's brother had let her stay with him and his family in Seoul. They lived happily, but Seohyun knew how much him and his wife wanted to be alone with their child. So she decided to move out at age 19 after finishing high school and becoming a university student. She has a nice apartment close to her brother's house, and she still talks to her father a lot. Now her new passion is taking pictures, which started when she was only 15 years old. Instead of becoming a dancer like she had dreamed before, she is a professional photographer, and she loves her job as much as she loves girls (which is quite a lot I might add).
