Kim Jongdae. When by himself, he's very quiet, introverted, always looking like hes in deep thought--but when hes with other people or talking or interacting, hes the opposite, hes bright, hes positive and cheerful and playful, and all he cares about is making sure the other person is content and happy..he doesnt give out much info about his life; He was ten when it happened...when the house seemed to erupt into flames...all he recalls is screaming..all he remembers feeling is hot heat, watering eyes, lungs unable to breathe..choking..it haunts him to this day..every night is a terror..and just to cope he desperately tries to not fall asleep. He doesn't recall how he got out..but he knows no one else survived..at least if anyone did..he doesn't know about it..to think it was Christmas Day..so much for miracles in December..
Soon he was placed with a foster family, the family was a military family, strict and harsh; Jongdae, always being curious and doing things of his own accord constantly became the targets for their verbal abuse and often the father's disciplining skills. Due to the stress level the incident caused, he doesnt have any fond happy memories if any ever existed. He grew up in china. When he was 13 he was dumped back into an orphanage, the parents no longer wanting him since they had their own four kids to look after, he never got another chance with a family, and spent his time alone in the orphanage. But just to cope with it all, he's become a self-harmer, and when alone gives into his depression.
He didnt want to leave the orphanage any more, mainly because he didnt see any hope in getting adopted plus parents often picked the cute little toddlers over older kids. So he stayed and grew up there, and once he was 17 he began to work there--eventually becoming a caretaker. Hes 21 now.
