Korban lives with a frantic mother. She's from England and is always a busy body. She has to be, being a mother of four. But, since Korban is the oldest, the rest of his siblings not even topping teen years, a set of twin sisters at 6 years and a baby gringer brother of 3, he's pretty much left to fend for himself. Korban's father was the love of his mother's life. They loved young, the reason Kory was older than his siblings. His father died when he was young, and his mother remarried to a traveling business man that is always on the road. He's pretty easy going and a lot of people in school consider them friends. His rather passive attitude towards them somehow always ends up with his house the party site even though he'd rather have nothing to do with it. His favorite thing is to nap, he is a pretty lazy guy. Laidback and easy going, he is very intelligent but just doesn't try. Due to his mother and father both being English, certain words and phrases come out heavily British. A few phrases he's picked up from his mother over the years also gives that fact away.
Korban had always been extremely close with his father, even off form a young age. He married his mother right out of high school because she was already pregnant. Korban's father had been her history teacher in high school, making him about ten years older than her. The day they were married Korban's father relocated the family to America. His father had a secret, was always running. He knew he wouldn't last long when he settled down with his new wife and child. He told Kory stories everyday of a hero shrouded in darkness. Kory's father was a hybrid human and alien race. His father had been one of the remaining of the far off planet that had once thrived. Korban had inherited his father's powers through lineage and genes. He never really knew just how real all of the stories his father had told him were true until after he was dead. As he grew up, he could find that his body disappeared in to he shadows and when he was angry, he could inflict mental images of the worst nightmare of the object of hate. Alone and afraid of himself, too scared to share with his mother what was going on. Young Korban found respite once in 6th grade when he was called to the counselors office. He was a special counselor for special people, she had explained. From then on Korban was introduced into a world he had no idea existed. Superheroes and super villains. He was trained and fine tuned to one day be a part of a special team. Sometimes he still finds himself horrified of his abilities, whether he admits it or not. Korban's tragic flaw is the fear he has of himself. Most of the time, he can not bring himself to finish the job because he can't live with himself, seeing him as a monster. His power weakness is light. He wears a special suit that reflect light away from him and is we leaned during the day. Also, he can becomes vulnerable during illusion inflictions, because he is literally projecting into someone else's mind. Shade wears an all black full mask uniform (for example spiderman and deadpool both wear a full mask costume). His boots and arms are accented with what seem like many buckles up the side, however they are devices developed to help protect and reflect the light off of him, making his power a little more viable during the day. Over the space where his eyes are, there is a dark metallic bandanna, tied behind his head, the end coming down in a tip over his mouth. There is a crest on his chest and a random pattern that moves with the shadows up his sides.

Personality: Just because you have a brain doesn't mean you have to use it. In Korban's eyes, his brain power needs to be conserved for more requiring tasks. In other words, school . Korban is lazy, loves to sleep, and in fact in always cranky with less than 8 hours of it. Unfortunately as a teenage that's over half the time. Other than that, when he is well rested, Kory as some of his close friends and family refer to him, is pretty laid back. He likes to build and repair computers but he law has is behind on projects because naps hold larger priority.

Who does your character live with?: Korban lives with his mother, his twin sisters (6 years old) and red headed devil baby brother (3).

What do they do when they aren’t saving/destroying the world?: napping, avoiding conflict (ironically), building computers.

He keeps his cool, taunting the enemy as he surrounds them until close enough to take over. In his eyes, the public is afraid of him.
