born and raised in this quiet beach town, jongin's lived a rather sheltered life, which renders him rather childish and naive both in mind and mannerisms. although not quite book smart, he likes to believe he's talented in figuring out what makes other people tick. the young boy spends a lot of time ruminating all by his lonesome, and though he's nothing but friendly, he doesn't consider himself to be popular or have many friends. despite experiencing a rough patch of bullying in his childhood due to his expressed interest in ballet, the last thing he did was allow it to affect him much in his later years. he spends his carefree summer days pursuing his love of dance, riding the waves with kyungsoo, and caring for his ailing mother.
