It may seem as if it's innocence at first, but how wrong you'd be. 

Fei's family came into power back in ancient China during the Qing Dynasty. The young girl was happy, innocent and playful. Running into a demon one day, the girl had befriended him, thinking of the man as a nice person. But there was deciet behind it all. Eventually, however, the girl fell in love with a prince, asking her demon 'friend' for help to make the prince notice her. By that time, the Demon had fell in love with Fei, and decided that if he couldn't have her, no one could, resulting in the death of the female. However, it had only been a poison that the girl had been tricked into drinking. Several years later, Fei had woken up as a demon, afraid of herself first. But eventually, the girl had gone on to begin to use her powers to an advantage.

Present time, Fei is a rather cold person, but masking herself off as naive and pure. Though she longed for someone to understand her predicament, no one ever did, which had caused more hurt and hatred towards everyone to fester. She's bult up walls around herself, not letting people get to close that easily.
