A Sheltered Soul...
Nearly twenty years ago, an infant child laid crying on the floor of an unkept apartment with no one responding. She had no idea that her parents lay in the next room, dead. The group of men present in the home had strict orders to torch the place; orders they were going to carry out until they were told to halt. Their leader ignored their words to kill the child upon finding her and carried her out of the house just as the home erupted in flames.
Twenty years later, that infant grew up into the woman she is today. Under the impression that her parents died tragically and was adopted by a loving family, she believed every word her father spoke to her. Raised in a household where, although her father was extremely busy, he was quite attentive, especially to her. He molded her into a strong, independent woman who, although she never wanted for anything, opted to work for whatever she needed. A university student by day majoring in international studies, and a hotel receptionist by night to cover her college fees, she has no idea of the life that's been hidden from her.
A terrible secret that can shatter her very existence.
A terrible secret that would destroy the only life she's ever known.
A terrible secret that can change her life forever.
A terrible secret that her family is purposely sheltering her from.
But how long will such an intelligent woman be kept in the dark before she uncovers the truth on her own?

Description
Out of Character Corner
I lean towards the third pov and typically prefer to do that. I feel like description is easier that way.
I don't mind talking OOC to plot, but other than that, I prefer to keep the OOC to a minimum. Only here to roleplay.
If you ask to plot/roleplay, then I expect you to be the one who post the starter. Thank you.
I don't face-chase. I only base the way my character interacts with you on how well you roleplay.
I write a lot when inspiration hits, so bear with me on that one. I expect you to NOT send me one-liners, okay?
