Hyesung has been in Hospital Lavender for quite some time. If he can remember correctly his first time here was at around the age of 14, although he doesn't remember much. He remembers horrible screaming and blood on his hands but that's about it. Ever since then they locked him up in the hospital where he was to be 'cured' and to this day is convinced they're testing him instead. Since his childhood he could vaguely remember being what some would call a problematic child. He had the worst mood swings (which was later determined as bipolar disorder) and, even though he seemed to have a gentle demeanor, the most violent of tendencies. The day before he was brought to the hospital he had been holding a knife to his little brother's neck (Jin Kyo) which, although it doesn't seem like he's capable of, regrets the action. It may seem that Hyesung is a man without regret or consideration for others but in reality he cared very deeply for his family. No matter what he can't seem to hate them even if they did send him to this place he calls hell. Being here for almost 14 years they also determined two other illnesses he had, which are schizophrenia and psychosis. He often hallucinations and hears voices, both of which have turned him into a mute. A selective mute to be exact. He will not speak to anyone, and the only noises you'll ever hear coming from his mouth are angry growls or pained and fearful screams. For some reason he doesn't attack children at the hospital, but maybe it's his underlying conscious (or what's left of it at least) that reminds him of his brother when he was little. Hyesung has a strong attachment to his family even though he can barely remember what his own parents looked like (for some reason he can still clearly remember Jin Kyo's face, demeanor, everything...). Of course almost everyone else at the hospital believes Hyesung is just a violent psychotic freak with only two emotions (hate and anger). Which, of course, isn't true but it's not like anyone would bother getting close enough to find out. He hates when people touch him and would rather like to be left alone to wander around. His bipolar disorders doesn't allow him to do that most of the time though unless he escapes the grasp of his demons (the doctors). For now he likes to sit and wait, stare out the window, and hope to see his brother walking towards the building to take him away. Until then he's locked in this cage of medicine and others on the verge of dying. Or people just like him being held captive against their will for something they could never help. After all, it's not like anyone ever asked for these mental illnesses in the first place.
