Backstory: Rekati was born in the start of the new world. Not our new world, but the beginning. She was slowly adapting to the ways that the people around her had crated. More civil manners of things. Soon after a night of which she was tanning animal after a big hunt. She was dry, and left within a inch of her life by a vampire that to this day she dosen't know. But a passerby, just so happened to notice the dying Rekati and saved her with his own blood. After writing a kind note, and putting her away in a dark cave high about civilian life, she awoke a week later. No memory of nearly, dieing, but only the note left on her ripped clothing, that read. "You cannot, under any means, go out in the daytime." Of course she had no idea, what he meant, so she tried exiting the cave, only to find her skin nearly seared off before she could step foot into the light.

She never knew what was wrong with her skin that made her unable to walk in the sunlight. But as time passed, she began to wander at night, working her way from place to place as far as she could, she had a new found body, more able, more willing. She soon ran across a temple shaded from day, covered always in darkness. It was here, she would learn how to become civil, she worked her way through life as a maiden of men, who seemed to never age a day, she felt young as always, and could never understand why. Even her master before she left the temple wonder how she could stay so flawless after over fifty years there. She became terrified at what she was. She didn't understand any of it. She should be dead, much like her brothers and sisters at the temple, so she cut her hair, and set her own room a blaze, they had found her blood soaked on the floor as she faded further away from the temple.

She has stooped in her tracks, looking down at a nearby river, her face was pale. She was afraid. She had become something people might hate, a monster. She would spend the next hundred or so years wandering around. Trying to find out, how can live. She slowly noted one thing though, she never had this amazing and beast like hunger before.  She had the craving for blood. She couldn’t tell why, it was just wanted. So she had to set up a system, she took in men, men who she could tell were bad, or at least hoped, she didn’t quit care, though being civil, she knew one thing at the time. She was something above what everyone else was. She had learned to be a blank face in towns as more and more places began to sprout. Small tribes became towns. Towns became providences. And soon, she had to get some sort of life going on, she had lived along in the world now that she had found a control to the feeding. But she felt that what she did, all those fifty men that laid dead in her cave. It wasn’t needed, she felt wrong. She felt that the hunger, wasn’t really a thing, it was something she was…imagination.  She didn’t know what to make of all of this.

She tried to keep a two person life, by day she was a fair maiden that traveled from city to city, with seemingly no end to her wealth or her beauty. She was always popular with men and women, none could resist her charm, she was with no doubt, the prettiest woman of the era. But as things went on in life, people began to snoop, wondering how she stayed so young looking so young, so vibrant. She was always seen with cute women and handsome men late a night, and the ones she walked off with never came back.  The story was that they tried to attack her, and ran off to the next town. She played foolish in this era 900 A.D. She acted as if she was a stupid girl, who loved to have affairs with the higher ups, it wasn’t to long before everyone in town who was somebody slept with her. It’s how she kept a steady cash flow.

Fast forward to the present. After years upon years of disappearing, changing faces and different aliases. Now known in this age as Sunny, a name that was derived by her name that she used when she had a child, Soonkyu, had come to understand the new age. This 21 century. After ruling over kingdoms and feeding her “loving” husbands. She had grown tired of this fake life. Always having to move, it was 2014 and people finally had a name for whatever it was she was. A Vampire. She never would call herself that, but if she had to check off a classification, with all the reading she had done, she’d agree she was one of them. She had the traits. She had come to see her life as nothing to hide, she hid well enough that anyone who last saw her was well dead unless they turned like her.

Sunny has lived Bontemps for years now, from the late 70’s to now. Only now has she changed what she now calls her un-changing appearance. She is often seen around her place of work when she chooses to show. Other times she is seen throughout the downtown and outskirts of the city and Louisiana,

Even though having a new name and sticking to it for now, choosing to live in this era. She came back with her original name, somewhat of a spy, even though she had died ages upon ages ago. She held on to every persona she ever made. She walked back in, stating her name. The record books showed her of the dead, but the current master of the now empty and dead temple smiled, welcoming once “Rekati” now “Sunny Lee” into her room, still charred and burnt from the day she set it ablaze. She learned her hunger was always met by her master. He just like everyone there knew. Sunny was different. She was not like them. After an episode of her crave in her sleep, he found a way to keep her soothed.

No one really has ever talked to her outside of work at Fangtasia. However everyone notes that for a month out the year she disappears. To the place that always felt like home, the place she became civil. The temple.
