Brief History: Born to the fiancee of Prince Sehun, Lord Chen, right after the Prince's death, the young Princess was destined to be a social outcast. A child of a most controversial engagement between an enemy lord and a "demon" prince, Kyungmi took valuable qualities from both: beauty and cunning. Her uncle, the Dominos, took heed of these traits and looked upon her with favor, treating her as his own child. Soon, he took the step of appointing her to the position of his Heir-or rather, his Heiress. It was a move never politically thought of, much less achieved. Kyungmi was bound to be loathed.

However, with time, many nobles saw her in a different-perhaps more sinister-light. As a figure of acceptance and equality, the young Princess had garnered the favor of the people and proved more popular than even the Council of Kwangju. Eventually, the nobles saw her as an easy road to the position of Dominos. Anyone who married her would be the next ruler of the entirety of Kwangju. What they did not count for was her strength in personality.

Long before any suitor could woo her, or even attempt to convince her uncle to arranging their marriage, the Princess would thoroughly humiliate him, effectively driving away most possible endeavors. Only a few, determined individuals remained. Her childhood friends and former arranged fiancee, Lt. Commander Jung Yunho of the Eastern Mountain nobility, is one of the those closest to her. Throughout the years, he proved his military might and skill and was appointed to the position of Kyungmi's Doctore. However, the closest is the personal advisor to the Heiress, Kairo of the gypsies. Formerly a Seoul slave, he was bought and subsequently freed by Kyungmi after she became intrigued by him during her visits to the other kingdom. They've stayed together, attached at the hip, for the past decade; it is an almost confirmed rumor within the palace that they're lovers, though the Princess denies it. Luckily for the suitors, Kairo cannot marry Kyungmi for he is not of noble blood. However, it is undoubted that when Kyungmi rises as Domina, Kairo would still be her right hand.

The Heiress is a smart, calculating woman, but she is still compassionate towards those she cares for. Her kingdom and her people are her utmost priority and to help those two prosper is the only goal to her life.
