 Growing up in a poor enviroment, Minseok has been abused and treated harshly by his greedy father, He began to have a fear of school which became so after his experince with it. His father would come to the school and beat him in front of the class, the teache doing noting about it. On top of that, students would and call him names. HIs mom knew nothing about this since sshe was always busy with work. Dispite the fact that she was always busy, she cared about Minseok very much.She was the only reason Minseok is here, considering the fact that he had suicidal thoughts at one period of time. One day, his class was holding career day and his mom was there with him. His dad, not knowing the fact came to the school was about to beat his child, but his mom stopped him. When they got back home, his parents got into a big argument, which lead to his dad killing his mom. Minseok watched the whole thing with wide eyes.He wen to call the police and after he did, his dad came to him, getting ready to do the same thing he had did to his mother. Thankfully, the police came and arrested him. Minseok was sent off to the adoption center after that incident. 

 Since that day, Minseok has always carried a picture of his mom along with a Pororo plushie that was given to him by her. somehow, the name Xiumin became something that Minseok is now used to hearing.Minseok is not that really shy but doesn't talk much unless he's very happy. He gets excited and hyper easily but can change emotions within the next minute. He enjoys to cook and watching Pororo along with playing soccer.
