Background
Myungsoo grew up in a broken household, his father being a drug addict and alcoholic while his mother worked 3 jobs in order to pay the bills and keep food on the table. Because his father also had a bad temper, when Myungsoo's mother was pregnant with him, his father would beat her every day during the 9 months she had Myungsoo inside of her. Even after he was born the beatings continued up until he was 5 years old, that's when his father quit beating his mother and began beating Myungsoo. Beacause of this Myungsoo would go to school with bruises every day and had to lie saying that he had fallen or ran into something because he was scared that his classmates would find out that his dad was abusive so he hid the truth from everyone, including his own mother, and delt with the pain alone.
After Myungsoo entered high school the beatings continued, but he got better at hiding the bruises by wearing long sleeved shirts, even when the weather was hot. Even at this point in his life he still lived with his father instead of running away only because he knew that if he were to run away from home then his father would start beating his mother again and he didn't want that to happen. When Myungsoo got into the 3rd year of high school his mother passed way from cancer that she had been diagnosed with, though no one besides her and the doctors knew about her being sick because she didn't want to worry her son. Myungsoo had only found out about her having cancer the day he got a call at school stating that his mother had passed away due to cancer. Because of the sudden news, Myungsoo broke down and felt like his whole world was crashing down right in front of him. His mother, to him, was the only family he had that actually loved him and she was gone.
Once the funeral for his mother was over, Myungsoo decided to go ahead and leave the house, no longer having a reason to continue living with his abusive father, and left home. He took on two part time jobs while still going to school in order to get enough money to get a small apartment and buy things he needed in order to survive. After high school, Myungsoo applied for college and was soon accepted into one of the best colleges in Seoul, where he soon met his first love who was visiting Seoul for vacation, touring potintial colleges. For Myungsoo it was love at first sight, and soon after they had met they ended up dating and she even moved in with him. Though the day it was their 300th day aniversary their relationship ended when Myungsoo got home and found his girlfriend in bed with his best friend. That day Myungsoo's heart was broken again, the second time after his mother's death. From that day onwards he changed completely, going from being the soft-hearted and caring Myungsoo to the heartless and cold L.
Once he saw what happened between his friend and his girlfriend, Myungsoo went out to get drunk that same night and drank a little too much, getting drunk, passing out and waking up the next day in a strange place. He was locked in a small unfamiliar room, with no memory as to what had happened the night before or how he even got to where he was at. That is until an elderly male walked into the room, a can in his left hand, dressed in a black suit. He explained to Myungsoo that his men had found Myungsoo standing over a male's dead body late at night with a bloody knife in his hand and that they had brought him to the elder male's headquarters because he had wanted to take Myungsoo in and train him, seeing great potential in the younger male. Not believing the older male, Myungsoo demanded to see proof that he had in fact killed someone, mostly curious as to if it was true but also because if it were true he wanted to know who he had murdered. He was handed a file and once he opened it up and saw the victims photo he realized who it was right away, his best, scrastch that, ex-best friend. He then began to slowly remember pieces of what happened the night before, remembering that he had to much too drink and that he contacted the other male, telling him to meet up with him. Myungsoo had bought a pocket knife and went to the location where he had told the other male to meet him, where he stabbed the male to death as soon as the other had arrived.
Because of the alcohol Myungsoo had done something, somewhat regretful, but even though he should have felt guilty about what he had done, he realized that he in fact didn't feel guilty about murdering the other male at all. In fact he felt something the opposite of guilt. Happiness. After that Myungsoo agreed to the offer that the older male made to him and soon began training to become an assassin, training day and night. He even started going by the name of 'L', an alias that he liked more than his real name. It was like he was reborn again the day he had accepted the offer to train as an assassin, and he quite liked it. It made his boring life a lot more fun, living as Myungsoo when he didn't have to assassinate anyone, and living as L whenever his new boss gave him a job to carry out.

Personality
Myungsoo, or L, is someone who's not really into associating himself with others, always keeping to himself. He doesn't ever smile, nor does he ever laugh because he doesn't believe that there's really anything in the world that's worth smiling or laughing about. To him the world is just a dark place. He doesn't trust anyone, including his own boss, mostly because of the betrayal that he went through with his ex-girlfriend and ex-best friend, which is why he is always seen by himself. He does have a few people who he often spends time with, but he isn't very close with them, only treating them like aquaintances and nothing more.
Even though he's someone who doesn't smile or laugh anymore, Myungsoo still does have a soft heart when it comes to his mother who passed away and often visits her grave whenever he misses her, the only place where he feels safe and secure besides his own home. He's mostly seen hanging around at casinos or even clubs whenever he's not working on an asignment that his boss has given him. Though he hates his ex for cheating on him, he still has the painful memory of that one day that he caught her in bed with his ex-best friend, the most haunting memory he has, and is also haunted by the happy memories that he shared with the female when they were together.
People tend to keep their distance from L due to the fact that he looks like a cold person who would snap their necks in a heartbeat if they even look at him the wrong way, but he isn't quite like tht. He's someone who only kills those who he's ordered to kill and wouldn't harm anyone other than that. Yeah he would scare someone who messes with him a little by breaking a leg or even a few fingers, but that's just about it. Even though he's quite cold-hearted, L loves doing photography as a hobby whenever he's not out on missions, finding that taking photos of scenery is quite calming and enjoyable, treating his camera like his own baby.

I've had it happen to me so many times before where someone else's muse did something like this: "He grabbed her wrist and dragged her up to the rooftop." I was the 'he' and the other roleplayer was the 'she'. The typist god-modded me even though my character hadn't even done anything like that, nor was he going to. So, please don't do anything like that.
+Lastly, I'm sometimes a quick replier when I'm online depending on if I'm in the middle of another reply or not.
