Being the only one to survive from my Pack, I came here.
Now I am alone, a lonely Alpha with no pack to lead.
I can not be made a lowly subject of some other Alpha, it's not in my blood to bow down to another.
It was unusual for me, a female, to become the Alpha. However my Father died in an accident, and my younger brother was not able to take up the responsibiltiy so I assumed the role.
I was young, but I led the pack with a strong heart just as my father had done.
I was never challenged, even the males in our pack who could have challenged me, respected my position.
I was their leader by title, but in reality I was their friend.

The night of the fire is one I will never be able to forget.
I had come home late from work and found our home was up in flames.
I ran inside and tried to save some of them, but the smoke was too thick I couldn't see or smell anyone.
I got out before it collapsed and hoped that maybe they had not been inside. That they had gotten out in time.
They hadn't.
I was the only one left.
I felt so alone. So lost. So confused.
