PERSONALITY—Though usually full of smiles and laughs, Baekhyun is anything but. He is very cautious about what he lets others know about himself. It may seem like he plays around a lot, but once in front of the camera, he's almost like a completely different person. Due to previous experiences, Baekhyun's not too fond of guys who lead others on with no initiative to take responsibility.
BACKGROUND—It started when the new neighbors moved into the house beside the Byun's when Baekhyun was twelve. Next thing Baekhyun knew, he was being dragged out of the house by his mother's surprisingly strong grip. He was introduced to another boy, one around his age, if not older. The two had gotten along well and not too long after, they somehow became inseparable. Baekhyun would follow the older around like the obedient puppy he was. A year into their friendship, Baekhyun started to notice the looks the older male would send his way, especially when they went to the pool or beach, any moment that consisted of Baekhyun wearing less than usual. It was flattering, really, being noticed. Baekhyun even started wearing jeans that hugged his hips just right, but had the other drooling over him. Sometimes, he would even wearing shirts that hung a bit too low; he really enjoyed the attention and maybe you could even say he had somewhat of a crush on the older boy. However, when he realized what exactly those looks meant, it was a little too late to put a stop to the teasing. One day, the older male pulled him away from his lunch table at school and took him to an empty classroom. That was the day he received his first kiss and first confession.
Two years of sneaking around during their budding relationship, between quick pecks and hidden touches, they were bound to get caught once. What Baekhyun hadn't expected was for it to happen the way it did—the door swinging wide open with both sets of parents standing wide-eyed and furious. They had walked in to see the aftermath of Baekhyun losing his ity to the boy that claimed to love him. However, what shocked him most was how he was roughly shoved off the older, by the boy himself, onto the hardwood floor. He sat there in shock—not to forget, completely —and listened to the cruel words that left his supposed boyfriend's mouth. Needless to say, he grabbed his clothes and ran out the door before he could even hear the hurtful remarks of all four adults. His parents come home soon after and he gets an earful of the words he probably missed on his way out of his now ex-lover's house. The next day at school, the older tried to apologize to Baekhyun for acting the way he did, but the words were useless against deaf ears. After weeks of ignoring the latter, he finally finds himself pinned against the bathroom door at school, a knee pressed in between his thighs to hold him in place. Angry words were shouted between the two teens, ending with Baekhyun on the dirty tile floors of the boys' restroom, bleeding from behind.
