I lost my personal journal a few days ago, so I guess I'll just continue it in this one. Like I was saying yesterday, the group seems nice, I guess. None of us have died yet, which is good. Hopefully we'll be able to keep the bandits away for a while.

Cailean's gone. Where did he go? None of us know. However, I have a feeling that he went to look for his daughter. He's mentioned her a couple of times, and I'm sure nothing would make Cailean go out on his own unless it was something serious. If he's not back within the next week, I'm going to assume that he's dead.

So, we've been looking for Cailean for a few days now under Winter's leadership. We also ran into some bandits along the way, but it was nothing we couldn't handle.

Oh, I almost forgot. It's Halloween. Guess what I'm going as? A zombie apocalypse survivor. Haha.

I'm running out of paper now. I only have like, 3 lines left, but I'll probably be able to fit what I want to say in here. Cailean still hasn't come back and we've been looking for him for almost a week now. With the bandits running around, it's pretty easy to imagine what happened to him. But I guess I'll wait a few more days before I come to that conclusion. Okay I'm actually running out of paper, so I'll make this quick, I love you Lily.

Back Story:

Rebecca didn't exactly know what she wanted to do with her life. Sure she liked computer science - but she also liked psychology. And there was math too, and biology was interesting. She went into university not really knowing what to expect out of life. She definitely didn't expect that 2 years later, she'd be trying to survive in a zombie apocalypse.

At first she didn't know what was happening. More and more people stopped coming to class, and she just thought that maybe they weren't able to handle it. She wouldn't be dropping out of any classes anytime soon. And then her sister disappeared. Rebecca didn't think much of it at first, her family had resented her ever since she came out as bi to them. She had to find a new place to live, and they cut off all contact with her. But she still couldn't help but feel a twinge or worry for her little sister. It wasn't like her to just disappear like that, so she started looking around.

That's when she came across the first zombie she had ever seen in her life. It wasn't like a video game zombie - like the ones from the Walking Dead - it was an actual zombie. What the f%$#? At first, she didn't think it was real. Maybe it was just a person with good makeup skills. But then somebody smashed in their head with their foot and told Rebecca to run. That was all she needed to hear.

Forget her sister and her parents - Rebecca had forgotten that they had moved to Manitoba or somewhere a while ago. There was no way she could help them now. So she went to look for somebody she could help: her girlfriend, Lily. She ran all the way to her apartment, and found that it had already been evacuated. She called her a dozen times too, but Lily never answered. Rebecca didn't want to believe that Lily was dead, but it was the most obvious answer.

That was three weeks ago. Now, she lives with other survivors in a safe house just up north of a hotel she used to go to when she was a kid. More and more people are coming to the safe house, but space is getting limited. Luckily, she was one of the first people there and made some friends along the way. All she has to do now is survive.

Rebecca still hasn't forgotten about Lily. She thinks about her whenever she can. Maybe she'll find her after all of this is finished. Or she won't. She just has to hope for the best - even though it's hard in a situation like this.
