as a kid i never knew my parents. they had given me up for adoption since i was just a little baby. years passed and nobody wanted to adopt me. so i was sent off to a shelter where i went from foster home to foster home. it was a horrible experience and when i was 13, i smoked my first cigarette. some older boys had pressured me into doing it and it just stuck as a bad habit. i quit 7 years later when i was 20 years old and i haven't touched a cigarette for the past five years. 
music and now my family are my only escape. they are the only things that keep me from falling back into that life and i hope i never ever lose them.
