Boa is a sweet person if you get to know her, but she protects the people she loves with her life. Although she is just a student, she is skilled in multiple types of martial arts as well as with many different weapons. Her mom and dad had raised her to defend herself and she still remembers those lessons. Her father had been in the mafia, so even after her parents were murdered, young Boa had more than enough money to survive. She had decided to finish school only because it was what her mom had wanted. After that, she would find her parents' killer and handle him. School is easy enough for her given her photographic memory and the fact that she's a certified genius. For that reason, she doesn't always see things or process things the way you might excpect.
To outsiders, she seems standoffish, cold, and uncaring. That is the persona that resulted from watching her parents tortured and then killed right in front of her at the age of 9. Everyday after school, she'd go home and practice fighting, shooting, throwing and all of her other skills. She still did. The thing most would never guess though, is that she's one of the smartest kids in her school. She doesn't brag about it and she doesn't talk to anyone but her close friends. They know who and what she really is: an assassin. That was what her father had trained her for even though her lessons had been cut short. Her "uncles" continued her training after she lost her dad and since she had seen him murdered, she had thought of nothing but revenge. If it was the last things she ever did, she would avenge both of her parents.
Aside from honing her skills, Boa loves to read, sing, dance, take pictures and almost anything else creative that you could think of. She'd always been that way. In fact, her art is what had gotten her through the hard days and nights. She'd learned to hide her emotions and it's difficult for new people to get inside of her shell. It's not impossible, but it takes a certain type of person. Having grown up alone, aside from her father's old associates who would check on her once a week, the young woman had no one. Her mentality was that of a mafia wife and it always would be. For that reason, she'd never thought marriage would find her. Now that it had, she didn't think it would last long.
She doesn't really have a preference toward gender as long as the other person knows not to cross the line, but she would suprise most people,because she prefers to be submissive to her lover, not that she's ever had one.
