[NTS: Add camp backstory and demigod revelation.]
Time zone: GMT+8
Writing Style: all (I’m not really sure)? Depends on plot or reply
[I'm not good with codes and layouting and stuff like that OTL so please forgive my poorly-made profile TuT]
Some aspects of Christien are slightly based from Silena Beauregard, Drew Tanaka and Lacy. :)
Plots: TBU! :) [note: when I rp in rooms, whatever happens there really happens to my character. So effects lasts. Kinda like character development :)]
#1 Just a Pinch of Humiliation. (Male; 0/1)
Cabin 10's filled with perfect little creations. Every person in there is elegant, bubbly and graceful or cool, charming and hot. They wouldn't be caught dead doing something hideous! Or in this case something awkward. It was in the forest behind a tall tree, far away from the cabins. Everything was perfect until InsertName came along. He caught Christien looking at a magazine with men and only men in them. He caught Christien off guard. His uality was a secret. What now? Well, InsertName wouldn't let something so preciously scandalous go. It was finally time an Aphrodite child got the taste of their own medicine. Problem? Christien doesn't even take part in spreading rumors. But InsertName doesn't care. It's time to teach them a lesson, Christien can be the reminder that 'what goes around, comes around.' Will his secret be revealed because of his half-siblings habits? Or will Christien be as cunning as InsertName?
#2 Beauty Doesn't Cut It. (Female; 0/1)
It is normal for people to search for their individuality. InsertName in particular wants to be one of the 'cool kids.' Christien feels bad. Because not all the cool kids are the good kids. She thinks otherwise. Christien understands. He likes to protect his own ego too. She argues that being one that belongs it was hard for Christien to know what it's like. Christien then opens up. it's hard being a child of a god or goddess. Expectations to meet, divine temper to appease, and roles to fulfill. Aphrodite was no easy shoe to fill. People think her kids are perfect beyond compare -- flawless. He explains that it's hard to fill in that kind of role. What if they messed up? Would they bring shame to their godly parent? What if luck was against them and they turn into pigs? Gods forbid if that happens. The horrible scandal! It takes guts to be a demigod, he explains to InsertName. His inherited looks are not the only essence of his existence. And it most definitely did not define his place.
#3 Shallow as a Puddle or Deep as the Sea? (( )Male/(v)Female; 1/2)
Who said being a demigod was easy? Well, go to Tartarus. Standards are the worst. Did anyone think beauty and love could be tiring? Christien hasn't. it was one of those times when Christien feels insecure of himself. And InsertName helps him get through it. But how could another demigod that represents something else teach a son of Aphrodite about image? Christien doubts the outcome but is willing to try. Christien urges that the two settle their differences. Despite his calm demeanor, Christien is not a patient boy. He demands attention and seeks InsertName to reassure himself. At least they got one thing down: Aprhodite kids do not like being ignored.
#4 Love is a Price We Both Cannot Afford. (Male[because he likes boys :p]; 0/1)
[note: one and only one. because Kyungsoo/Chrstien is as loyal as Hera. Don't ask me, ask him XD ]
Almost every one of Christien's bunkmates knows a little something about love. Some had their own experiences and some had, well, close encounters. Christien may or may not have one of those. He doesn't really like to talk about it. Probably because he was nine years old back then and it ended with a sobbing break up over ice cream. It wasn't Christien who sobbed though... Anyways, he wouldn't want that to happen again. But here goes InsertName messing up little Christien's life. Then again, it won't be a problem since the both of them agreed they can't fall in love. Although, that doesn't mean they haven't yet. Love conquers all? Please, Christien's ego knows better.
Description
"If you must be addicted to something...
be addicted to love.
NOT . LOVE."
-- Carmen Dell'Orefice
Face claim: Do Kyungsoo
Race: Greek
Three years a camper and counting!
Godly Parent: Aphrodite
Age: 15
Orientation: Homoual [But it's one of his secrets! So shhhh. :3]
FATAL FLAW: INSECURITY [also one of secrets. I think we all know why?]
Demigod Abilities:
ADHD: Demigods are destined to constantly battle for life and death in different situations. To help them cope, they are given ADHD. Yippee.
*Parentage Abilities:
Radiating Beauty/Calling Charm: Every one deserves a second look. Blessed with the godly beauty of Aphrodite, her children have the kinetic ability to stay wonderful and to radiate charm or grace in whatever they do and whatever state they are in. And with a little more effort, Christien can intensify his natural appeal making anyone looking at him be focus on only him.
Fashion Sense: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Every child of the love goddess could change and fit looks effortlessly to please the standards of their on-lookers. It's not magic though, it's just that Aphrodite children have a natural talent to know what works with what. And anything goes well with an Aphrodite kid. (Of course, they themselves feel differently.)
Language of Love: every Aphrodite child is blessed with the French tongue.
Gift of Heart: as a son of the love goddess, it wouldn't be a surprise that Christien is in touch with his feelings and emotions. Therefore, he has a strong will that could battle against most hypnotic charms and skills. Not completely successful but totally reliable. He is also impulsive and irrational at times much like feeling before thinking.
*just gave what abilities Aphrodite kids have new names and a few twist of my own XD
[Sorry, he doesn't have charmspeak. I didn't intend for him to have it. And there's no male ever said to have charmspeak in the series (yet, I hope :'3) =_= and since it wouldn't be so rare if every child in Cabin 10 would have it XD and because of his strong will, he can resist it. To a certain extent of course, because if the user can charm a god then by all means, whoop his XD HAHAHA]

Bio:
“Looks aren’t everything… unless you’re a Lovenly. In which case, beauty is the essence of life, my boy.” Mr. Lovenly, dressed in scrubs, said as he soaped his hands clean for the 5th time. Christien Lovenly, a plastic surgeon’s son, grew up in an environment where everything needed to be perfect, beautiful, eye-catching, stunning – simply divine! It be forbidden if anything hideous stepped onto the threshold of his father’s mansion. Whether living or non-living, you had to be good-looking. Growing in that kind of mind set, it hadn’t been a surprise when Christien found out that he was a son of a greek /goddess./ No wonder he even had a mother and been born. Who would be able to surpass his father’s meticulous eyes better than the epitome of beauty, the meaning of divine looks, and the goddess that could bring shame to reflections (because not even an exact /copy/ was enough) and plastic surgery, Aphrodite herself? Christien was lucky to be born inheriting his mother’s good traits. Perfect facial ratios, blue-ribbon-worthy talents -- the works plus good genes. Or else he would have been thrown out fourteen years ago. According to his father, he would have been as good as Botox if it weren’t for the striking resemblance he had with his mother (a trait which all Aphrodite children shared apparently because their lovely mother never stayed the same look twice. Ever. So they had a LOT of resemble features to pick from.). The only thing Christien didn’t inherit from both his parents was the ability to dwell on beauty like it was gravity. Don't get him wrong, he appreciates beauty but he can never be as perfect as his parents were being. It was amazing how beauty people in before love even settled in. Proves to show the eyes see before the heart beats. Love and beauty… whatever those were, Christien found out faster than falling in love.
Character / Personality:
(Please read this part carefully. ^_^ but it's unfinished yet, so don't XD unless you really want to LOL NOTE:I use 'them/they' because it's Christien/Kyungsoo's perspective and I'm not in anyway saying that this persona applies to alll those in this RP hahaha I am not generalizing Aphrodite kids :3)
Christien is as complicated as love. Some people find him easy, some people find him cheesy, and some people simply find him confusing. Some people don't even find him at all. A demigod is NEVER what you expect. That's what everybody says. An Aphrodite-born? They just want two things: love and attention. And that leads people to stereotype them. They just want to bring attention to themselves to prove that they're not all just about latest trends and heartbreaks. Sure they never fail to impress or they're too perfect for their own good (barf-worthy perfect even) but all Aphrodite kids have underlying inner beauty in them that people seem to dismiss. Some people in Cabin 10 are just as wise as Demigods in Cabin 6, you know! (Okay, maybe not that wise but you get the gist.) Hey, everyone wants to be different, right? Christien doesn't mind that. Yet he is bothered by how everyone in the world wants to be something they're not. As one of the sons of Aphrodite, Christien understands how people cover up their flaws much like how his half-sisters put on their make-up. It's not to be beautiful, it's to stay beautiful. And he also gets how people compensate for what they lack. Besides, isn't that what love is about, 'finding your missing piece'?
Christien likes accepting he is an Aphrodite Child. It is because he could understand what beauty truly is and what love truly holds. He is not hindered by the stereotypes because he lives among them, in Camp Half-Blood. And they're not as bad as ordinary people think. In fact, they're way better. Christien accepts his own flaws and doesn't try to hide them. He doesn't have to -- chances are, people will find it no matter how deep you bury them. Yet that doesn't mean he goes around telling people his weaknesses and that doesn't mean it doesn't bother him. Christien has secrets of his own and he keeps it to himself. Especially his fatal flaw. He wouldn't want any of his juicy-story-hungry siblings to dish dirt out of him. Trust him, Aphrodite kids know how to get around. Christien also knows that everybody wants attention as much as Cabin 10 does, but just for completely different reasons.
Christien likes a low profile. It's not like he was neglected by his father or outcasted by his peers. He was fully equipped to cope (Aphrodite kids tend to attract a crowd. Thanks, mom.) In fact, he had so much unwanted attention, it was enough to last him his entire Demigod life. Life under the constant scrutiny of his surgeon father and nosy admiration of his previous schoolmates was very annoying in more ways than how to fix your hair. Noone even really acknowledged his looks until the night he was claimed. Secretly, Christien loved the new look and adoration (for a few days) then he got bored and it wore off. He was a bit disappointed because now he had to take care of his skin again. Flawlessness didn't come cheap, you know. And again, that's just for himself to know.
Christien by any other name is just as sweet. He is sweet, like bonbons, and scrunches his nose at violence. But he dislikes being underestimated because he's a son of a beauty goddess. That alone gives him strength to lash his whip, Fotovolida, and wield his dagger, Evlaveia. Like his father, he is obsess with perfection and beauty but on a different scale. In addition, he likes it when he sees other people feel perfect and beautiful. That's why he loves being in the Aphrodite cabin, it just oozes with perfection and love -- it was overwhelming in a good way. Despite his loving nature he also likes messing around with his half-siblings. Laughing around uncoordinated fashion and camp crushes and hot topics. Be warned though: mess with, or even insult, the power of love and Christien will flip all the tables he needs to make you believe just how powerful love can be. And he'll most likely apologize afterwards. That's just how he is.
●●TRIVIA

○Christien dislikes clowns. They look like a fashion disaster with make up over kill.
○Christien wants to become a vegetarian but he simply can't resist burgers and lasagna.

○Despite being a love goddess offspring, Christien hasn't had his first kiss. He has been in one relationship (it didn't last long enough for a kiss).
○Christien has a secret stash of food and sweets at the bottom of his trunk. He takes them out if he has one of those unmanly cravings.
○His favorite drink is pink lemonade.

A golden pocket watch with a mirror, a parting gift from his dad.
