Growing up, Min Young, or Min, had always traveled with her dad, since she was an only child and there was no one else to take care of her. Her dad spoils her a lot, though she doesn't like it, and he would do just about anything to make her happy. Min Young doesn't know who her mother is and whenever she had asked her dad, he would never give her a straight answer. Once Min had told him that she wanted to become an idol, he was a bit hesitant at first but opened up to the idea later on. He had put her in dance classes, vocal classes and acting classes for two and a half years before she was scouted for New Bear ENT at a local singing competition.
