Junhong wasn't always homeless. In fact, his family was more on the high end of the middle class spectrum and the boy's family had lived rather well until his father passed away after a six month battle with pancreatic cancer leaving an 10 year old zelo with his heart broken mother   And no income. By the time the next year came, the boy's mother was a complete mess of depression and drugs and had become abusive to her son just as her countless boyfriends were with him. By the time he was thirteen, junhong had runaway and ended up in the slums with all the homeless and family-lacking people. And after three years of living alone and bitter, instead of a bright and happy boy, a cold and quiet teen had has taken junhong's place leaving the boy alone without a single person to keep him warm or safe. 

 

dream power given: Junhong went through such hard times but, naturally is a boy of happiness deep inside. Thus, Junhong was given the power of light. He's had many dreams of him in heaven with the one's he love, happy and enjoying peace and serenity but then often feels idolated  when he awakes. But, then one day discovers, golden lights can shine from his finger tips like sun rays and turn anything he touches into something brighter, happier, and alive.  These powers only work when he can see the beauty/happiness/light in things. Therefore he has yet to discover this power.
