Background

Sitting alone at her desk, scribbling down her thoughts into her handy notebook, Jieun worked on a new plot for another book. Her apartment quiet except for the soft scratching sound of lead against paper. Drawing arrows here and there to link her ideas and expand on them, she sat alone for hours, repeating the process. Her life is simple, waking up, writing, writing, writing, dinner, sleeping. Rarely does she socialise with people or even step out of her apartment, too lazy to interact and too busy being trapped in her own world. Her family is rather well off, with her father as a teacher in a university and her mother an owner of several chain cafes. Jieun helps out from time to time, singing or playing the guitar and or piano.

Occasionally, her childhood friend visits her, telling Jieun tales about her love life from which Jieun writes them into her own story. Always horrified over the fact that Jieun has yet to get a boyfriend. "Well, I don't go out, how do you expect me to get a guy?" Jieun would always reply. Then comes one day where she responded over-eagerly with the fact that there exists things such as a "perfect boyfriend", and introduced Jieun to the Boyfriend Factory. "You can just give it a try. There's no harm!" She assured over and over and Jieun thought why not give it a try, there'd be some company too. Maybe he could even become writing material.

Personality

Jieun is a rather dazed girl, often stuck in her own head which is filled to the brim with ideas for her stories. She is very lazy and her procrastination level is not to be belittled. She is laid back and prefers to do nothing all day. She is an indoor people and refrains from going out as much as possible. Though she seems rather depressing, she has a bright personality and can easily talk to people, though sometimes she talks about very random and weird topics. As a freelance writer, she is able to fulfill all these 'criteria' and enjoy writing.
