THE ICE PRINCE
Do Hyena was a beautiful woman, eighteen and full of love and life. Everyone around her was twirled around her finger and she was like a princess, and one day she found her prince. They were happily in love, they spent days dreaming about the day they rode off into the sunset. But nine months later a baby tore the two apart, ripped Hyena of her love and gave her something that she was not ready for. She was young, still a child and she was in no way of knowing how to care for an infant. She tried, and tried so hard to keep her and her child happy when times were rough. Two years later Hyena fell back in love again, unprepared for what was to happen. The man was a captain of a pirate ship, a cold man who melted to Kyungsoo's mother's touch. They were madly in love, but push came to shove and things had gotten too rough for the couple, and it wasn't the father that left. It was Hyena who left her child behind and ran, and no one heard from her again. Kyungsoo, however, was left with his father who quickly returned to his previous self. The Kyungsoo full of smiles and heart shaped lips like his mothers, was no longer that child. His father took him under his wing and Kyungsoo became his one child. It wasn't love and affection but barked orders and slaps to his pale cheeks when he does something wrong or speaks up to his father, a fragile porcelain doll to a heartless, cold pirate like his father. Kyungsoo was eight when he went on his last voyage with his father, before his father fell into the water during a storm and the very next morning when the crew had woken up, they were in Neverland.
« PERSONALITY
Ever since he was a child when his mother left and things had turned in another direction, the small boy's name had changed. Instead of Do Kyungsoo, son of a pretty woman with the voice only that could come from an angel, hair that fell beautifully while she danced and heart shaped lips that could tame anyone, he was the Ice Boy. Teased for never smiling, his big wide eyes that could kill, and stories about how cruel his mother truly was or that his father was secretly a kraken; those stories shaped and formed along with the treatment from his father determined present day Kyungsoo. Whilst he may be human after all, Kyungsoo's emotions are nonetheless different from others. He doesn't experience love, lust or empathy, nor happiness for the matter. Instead there's anger and frustration, a type of cold shoulder everyone gets at least once in his presence. Never once since his mother left had he smiled, his father had taught him to refrain from speaking in front of authority unless he was the authority, and that he was to complete orders and assignments as appointed without questioning others or those above him. Kyungsoo was strong and brave as his father had created him, but inside he was a fearful boy, he was still a child and he was scared, clueless, but he nearly beaten mentally to do as he was told. He kept his emotions inside, locked them up and focused on what his father wanted instead. Kyungsoo doesn't 'believe' and he thinks realistically, his heart hardened and swallowed by grief that his father never mentioned to teach him about. And life on Neverland didn't change any of that. They called him Ice Prince because he was cold, heartless and bold. He continued to follow his fathers words of wisdom even after his death, and he continued to think of the riches, the treasures, because they were the only thing to keep him from thinking of his mother.
