♠ Taemin was born into a wealthy family that plays a big role in the wine industry. He was coddled in the arms of his mother for a short amount of time before handed off to be cared by the hired caregiver. They saw their son not as a human being they created but the next heir to carry out the family business for the next generation. His parents were both workaholics and rarely stayed at home.
 
Taemin lacked family memories because of that, his only company would be butlers and maids that run the mansion. The young boy was pressured into excelling in academics, expanding talents in playing instruments and reciting poetry is a must. Believing he would grab the attention of his parents if he create outstanding results, he done so. For many years he did, his parents would never turn an eye on him and say he's not good enough. One day, Taemin broke down from the pressures of his family and the stress his body could not carry anymore. Then he was greeted by a young male who convinced him to follow him. He promised Taemin, he could be accepted and recognized for his hard work unlike his parents. With that, they took off to Neverland.
 
Since he never had many opportunities to develop friendships (he was homeschooled), he cherishes people he cares dearly. He finds the more time he spends with somebody, he warms up to them and can speak more confidently. It frustrates him whenever he finds something he’s not good at and make efforts to learn or improve. Due to the lack of social interaction with kids his age, he's not caught up with trendy jokes. The kinds you call generic? Taemin laughs at all of them and finds humorous people interesting. He can be sly and pretend naive to trick people. His worst trait is his short temper and may act passively aggressive.
