Hyungseok is a 24-year-old pirate who doesn't really want to be one.

He left home with 14, to put it short: his father, who has a leading position in the Marine, killed his friend's family and when Hyungseok spoke up his own life was threatened, leaving Hyungseok no other choice than run away from home. Together with his childhood friend, Fei, he joined the pirates. After a few years spent in several different crews they decided to have their own crew – while Fei made sure the people feared them Hyungseok took the people in, giving them a place to stay and making it their new home.

Everything worked out quite properly, respect and fairness being most valued just until a few weeks ago – when Fei died and a new captain took over due to Hyungseok being captured by some other pirates, unable to prevent anything. Even though know Hyungseok is back all he wants is to leave as his crew is not the same as before and even the people changed. So now he is looking for a way to leave the crew without betrayal – because Hyungseok would never betray his crew. He is loyal until death.

Even though Hyungseok is 24 he is quite small, people often think he is still a kid and try to get his way with him. He might look fragile and skinny but he can break bones and kick asses if he has to. He isn't quite talented with his fists but if he is given a dagger he is a real threat to the strongest people. He is fast and when it comes to running away he won't ever be seen again. He has his amazing archery skills from his mother (who died – get close to him and he might tell you his secrets. Secrets that might bring a Marine's leader down and probably weaken the entire Army) but he can't fight with a sword, no matter what.

Although he is a pirate he can't swim nor read maps – he also gets quite seasick so he often can be seen on land and in different cities, trying to get information and money. He likes cats and tea, peppermint is his favorite. Sometimes he tries to save the children from the reckless Army that tries to capture everyone – no matter if bandit, pirate, theft or simply a small kid that stole an apple because it didn't eat for days.

As he is the son of a well educated man he can read and write and is even able to communicate in a few different languages – but maths is his weakness. Don't try and let him multiply things, he will fail miserably. He is already happy he can read the time.

Hyungseok can be found everywhere and nowhere. If you keep your eyes open you might be able to capture him and maybe you are the reason that he is finally set free from the ties that bind him.
