Description
It's safe to say that Baekhyun's had it easy. He grew up in a relatively stable household with a successful lawyer as a father and a mother who ran a neighborhood flower shop. He had spent most of his high school years at the flower shop after school, helping his mother sort out the beautiful array of flowers that came in every week. Many female classmates frequented the shop in order to be able to see him after he had managed to turn himself around after middle school. Baekhyun was still average in terms of height and he never paid much attention or interest towards sports but he did start taking care of the way he dressed and composed himself. He was the type of guy that got along with people easily and although he was frequently seen with a group of friends, he was rarely actually close with them.
Instead of gravitating towards sports, he found interest in art and photography. He loved the feeling of bringing his thoughts to life through paintings and sketches, loved how pictures captured all the beauty of one moment and most of all, it just felt right. It was the only thing that he had motivation for to his father's dismay who had wanted Baekhyun to follow his footsteps. He didn't put up much of a fight to Baekhyun's dream when he decided to pursue a career in graphic design. In fact, it seemed as if his parents just stopped caring at all after his older sister passed away from overdose. He doesn't blame them, really, because he broke down the night she passed away, too. There's always a sense of responsibility and anger for not being able to see the signs that he can't get over. He doesn't remember much from that night but he does remember trashing the entire living room and waking up with a bloodied fist. Things were never the same in the family after that.
After majoring in business and graphic design in college, Baekhyun ended up landing himself a job in a well known advertisement firm as a graphic designer and has moved in to a new apartment, closer to his job. He lives alone with his pet cat, Mittens, who manages to keep him company just fine.
