Kim Minseok was given love and affection by his parents who brought happiness into their home and not only that but open arms as well. They gave him everything they could despite their low income but nonetheless Minseok was a child of bright smiles and intelligent wisdom, no one could ask for a better child. He was smart and lovable and everything he did was for the better good. Things weren't so great when good turned bad and at the ripe age of fourteen his parents were ripped away from him by the hands of fate. His parents had fallen ill to a related sickness spread throughout China where they lived, at least, for fourteen years. Minseok was lucky enough to have survived thanks to his healthy and strong fighting immune system, but sadly his parents did not have such a strong health and passed a few weeks afterwards leaving Minseok to care for himself until he was adopted.

Minseok moved into a new family albeit contrary to before his new parents were wealthy and kind but they were not his biological parents. Minseok became quiet and withdrawn but put up a front because he knew disobeying wouldn't bring his parents back. Instead Minseok found passion in music, started to go to dance lessons when his mother had suggested it. Not too long after and with some agreement and arguments that lead to sleepless nights Minseok learned ballet and became a ballerino. Ballet had become something important to him besides singing, and only a few years later when he was seventeen he became an instructor and started to trust others. He eventually moved out and put his past and sadness behind him, looking forward to the future.
