Lee Jieun is a shy girl. 

Because of circumstances, she learned how to be an introvert - learning about people and knowing about them became second nature to her. She wanted, more than anything, to not have issues with people. 

Sometimes, even now that she's much older, she tries to remember exactly why it is that she's so quiet and to herself. As she looks at her ceiling, stars in her eyes, the only one conclusion she ever reaches was probably sometime after her dog passed away. In the juncture of time and space where she was running after the pup, and it got hit by a car and all she could do was stare as it bled out - something in all of that, and perhaps something in the fact that it wasn't just her dog, it was also her younger brother - probably made her introverted. 

Jieun doesn't like thinking about it much; she doesn't think about it much because it just makes her eyes well up with tears she doesn't want to shed. Tears she thinks she doesn't need to shed. 

 

But her parents sent her to a psychologist, and the shrink told her, "You need to let it out." But does she really? "You should have friends," her psychologist would tell her. She would laught it off, "I only need you to talk about my issues, though." 

Despite her parents efforts, Jieun went through school friendless, and she was okay with it. She was content with her standing - she didn't need anyone else. It didn't help that everytime someone tried having a conversation with her, she would freeze up and turn into a stuttering mess. It also didn't help that other girls would push her, yank her by the hair and stuff her into bathroom stalls. 

Their pretense being, "Stop calling so much attention to yourself." 

Which Jieun never understood - what attention? She was always so quiet, she didn't understand where that came from. But she didn't press on further, only kept shoving any hurt and remorse inside. 

She doesn't need others. She doesn't need them. She only needs herself. 

 

That's what she told herself and that's how she managed through high school and finally got away from her school, from her parents, from the street where all she could ever see was a bleeding out pup and her brother holding it, bleeding out as well. 

And now, in college, she can't help but want to try to live without anymore fears or regrets. But it doesn't help that the one guy who caught her eye is almost unattainable, right?

Personality wise,  Jieun is very soft spoken, and with a bit of help here and there, she'll warm up to you.

I. before you post on my wall:

01. I won't answer to random starters.
02. Please don't ask to RP with me if you don't have a plot in mind, and if you do ask to RP with me, you start first.
03. I'm really selective with replies - it's nothin personal, it's just that there are some plots that I am more inspired to write and others I'm not.
04. And as much as I like replying faster, please don't reply to me with only one line. Don't do two lines, either. At least four sentences is enough (you would already know this if you actually read the rules).
05. My GMT is -5, so if you live on the other side of the globe it'll probably be hard to RP. But if we do, that's alright <3
06. Poke me if I haven't replied to you after two weeks or so. I'm a busy student, so yeah.
07. I roeleplay 1st and 3rd person, and even though I enjoy replying quicker. I despise replies or starters that lack substance or that are less than four lines.
08. I love very detailed writing, and if you don't offer that, please don't ask me to RP with you.
