Tao recently moved into the area, having traveled a long way to find something worth stopping for. He's a Chinese wolf who ran from his pack full of abusive alpha's. He was the youngest and wasn't strong enough to protect the omegas of his birth pack. That fact has haunted him ever since he ran away, he trained for years and eventually turned into the strong alpha he is today. After traveling by himself for years, he came across this pack and decided to attempt the pack life again.

He is quiet and kind of shut off in front of new people, but once he gets to know someone, he's very sweet and loving. Even more so to omegas. His smiles are rare because he's usually in deep thought and he doesn't like showing his emotions, he sees them as weaknesses. His personality is naturally cute, but he denies it, especially in front of other alphas. Coming from an abusive pack, he's very protective of omegas and will not hesitate to fight another alpha over the treatment of omegas, even if it gets him in trouble.

He has a mysterious tattoo on his upper arm, ask about it and he will tell you about it, but it probably won't be pretty.

He'd thought he'd found what he'd been searching for in his first mate, but the fragile omega died giving birth to his twins. Tao spent the next eighteen years alone, grieving and neglecting his sons without realizing it. Before he knew it they were grown and he'd missed so much by drowning himself in work and taking over the pack. He'd protected everyone and had forgotten what was the most important. Luckily his Kwang was still willing to give him a chance and the two are as close as could be. His second chance came in the form of a small omega, little Jongsuk attached to him and he's been taking care of the boy since. Not long after, he ran into an old friend and found himself...breathless. Seeing Ren after years of lost contact, the alpha realized that the stubborn Beta was exactly what he was missing. He didn't hesitate and asked the man to mate with him the same day and they've been together since.

After a few years of blissful peace, the now head alpha was injured by a hunter's bullet and the damage has left him with a perminant limp. Tao couldn't keep up with the responsibilities that came with being the leader of the pack, he couldnt protect them like before and he knew he had to step down. Luckily, his beta who had been  suppressing his true nature was able to take the position from him. Ren, now an alpha, has taken on the role of leadership and Tao couldn't be more proud even if it is causing him some confusion.
