Kuina.
Supposed to be around 23 years of age.
Broken, lost, hurt. On the inside.
Cold. On the outside.
Growing up without knowing his own past, without knowing where he came from, he found that the only way of protecting himself is acting heartless towards others.
No one wants to deal with a heartless boy who doesn't show any emotions. Who only gives an empty smile, who acts out so perfectly a happy image without felling any joy at all.
No one hears the silent cries at night. No one knows how much this boy is longing for love.

the unforgetable past; 

Lost, lonely, broken, bruised, abused. That's how they once found a little boy on the streets in a Japanese town.
This boy was Kuina. Without any memories of who he is or where he came from he was sent to an orphanage, raised up by the people there. But no one really wanted to get close to this boy, the boy who did not even know who he was, the boy who seemed so weird, as if he wasn't supposed to belong to such a place.
Scared of other humans, of the other children who bullied him for being different, of the adults who did not want to have much to do with him, the weak and broken boy started to act cold, not letting anyone close to himself. The coldness made him even lonelier.
No one was supposed to get close to him, no one was supposed to hurt him.
Hurt him like he was hurt before. Even if he doesn't know what had happened to him at all.

 

we never know what's going to happen as time ticks; 

Kuina was 16 when he left the orphanage. He did not want to stay at such a place longer than he needed to.
Earning himself some money with several different jobs he traveled all around the country. But never was he able to stay at some place longer than a few weeks or months.
Eventually he left the country, even though not by the most legal ways, and ended up in a place where people are treated like pets by others.
Even though he did not like the idea of being treated like a pet all too much he decided to stay.
Maybe if he just behaved like a good boy... Maybe it all would be fine then.

 

a star to far to reach; 

To find someone who shows him that not all people want to hurt him... That's what Kuina, deep in his broken and dark heart, wishes for.
Will you show him? That not all people mean harm to this poor boy.
