How they became an orphan: 

What is a monster? Yixing was perceived to be an abomination and that exact thing due to the reason that his own umma had perished to bring him into the world. Due to his father’s grief and bitterness of having lost his mate, he never let his umma’s death go unforgiven each day, telling him over and over that it was his fault, that he had killed him because he had torn his way through his mother’s body that left him bled out and broken. In all of his two years of life, he grew up with no love but abuse and neglect as his father refused to care for him. It was almost like he was an orphan then but one person had pity for him and became his caretaker. Even with his young age, he knows fear all too well and is mistrusting of everybody. It was just Yixing’s luck when a pack of rogues attacked their coven one night. His caretaker, frightened that the young child would be slaughtered as well, whisked him way to safety where he left him at the border of a pack’s territory, hoping that somebody would find the precious child and take him in.
