I can roleplay pretty much anything so don't be afraid to ask me for certain things. However, their are certain things I won't do, and I will tell you if I don't do them. If you leave me a one-liner, I probably won't reply to you. Also, I prefer 3rdPOV over 1st although I can do both. BACKGROUND

If you went to the same school as Dylan, you would know just how much of a genius he is. For the first few years of his life he went to school like the rest of the children his age before he showed signs of being smarter than the rest. Wanting to push him to his full potential, his parents took him out of public school and paid for him to go to a private institute. Although he would never tell them, he hated the institute.
There are secrets in that building. Dark ones pertaining to Dylan that he'd rather not talk about. No one knew anything was wrong though, as his report card sent to his parents showed more than perfect grades and performance. Nothing was out of place.
Then there was the fire. The entire institute was set ablaze by an unknown force just after the "graduation ceremony".
When Dylan went back home, he hoped to maybe take a rest after his grueling teaching and the fire, but his parents revealed that they had gotten hiim a job as one of the top scientists at Jurassic World due to his extensive research and skills in the field of genetic manipulation (in both humans and animals, but no one needs to know that).
So now he's here, and he's come to accept that his entire life has been controlled by everyone but himself. He slaves away in the lab because of his parents pride in him, because the park will surely lay him off if he messes up.
Somewhere, he's trying to find where his happiness is. So far, he hasn't been able to find it.
PERSONALITY

Dylan isn't reserved, but he isn't necessarily outgoing either. He is an introvert, prefering to be alone to concentrate easier. However, sometimes he thinks he's lying to himself when the lonliness comes back to bite him in his latest hours of work into the night. When that happens, you'll usually find him sprawled over his work place with his eyes screwed shut as a bad habit.
When working with others, he's quick and straight to the point. He usually serves things up with sarcasm and a slight shyness due to the fact that he's not very good at interacting with people.
Due to the fire of the institute and things that happened to him there over the years, he doesn't like to talk about the school. In fact, he likes to push those memories as far away as possible. Their screams...him standing by idly. His screams...mouth being covered by his principal. Everyone's screams...fire burning it all down.
On the outside, Dylan comes off as a good-natured, way-too-young-to-be-so-good-at-this-job, sarcastic, happy guy.
No one would ever think that he has night terrors often, which is why he always works for days at a time with never sleeping, or keeping awake with energy drinks and the fact that he has insomnia.
In reality, he's got his own secrets and nightmares he keeps locked up inside himself. Maybe if he ever found the right person to trust, he could finally let everything out. For now though, he keeps it all bottled in.
