Hansol was born in a small village in the mountains, near a large temple devoted to inner cultivation of the soul. When he was three, his parents died, leaving him in the monks' care. He learned many things from them, but what he didn't learn was emotion and how to express it. He left the temple when he was 15, eager to travel the world and get to know the many beauties it contained. Unfortunately, he stumbled upon a band of thieves that convinced the naive boy to join them. He stayed with them for a year, gradually opening up, he even found a lover amongst them. When the group was caught, his sense of right and wrong has already been completely warped. As he was extremely pretty, he was sold into slavery and somehow, through many owners, he got into the mansion. Here, he accepted the role of a butler, his body and mind craving the sinful pleasures he got used to in his life as the thieves' (for that was what he was for that year). The only reason he didn't become a slave is that he can cook.
