Biography
Being the son of a brilliant scientist obviously meant that Richard was inclined to STEM, too. For the most part, he excelled at it--but the problem was that he was proud. Haughty, even. So he rarely got along with teachers and his mother ended up teaching him at home for the latter half of his highschool years. This was hard, given that his parents had divorced by the time Richard was ten and his mother was very focused on her robotics project. But, she managed and Richard received a well rounded education.
At eighteen, Richard packed up with his best friend Elizabeth and left his hometown of London, England, to stay with grandparents in Seoul so that he could connect with his ethnic roots and study at colleges in Seoul. Then, one fateful November night, his life was turned upside down.
He had grown up with Mother Chip (and had been the one to name her, a play on Mother ship) and the Geminis, but they were suddenly standing on his doorstep with a third PAU. The news that his mother had died and left her work and assets to him came as a serious blow because she was really the only family he had ever connected with. He began working to complete Model 03, who he named Flex because of the new flexible joints his mother had put into the PAU, and once he completed the project he ventured with Elizabeth to the bank to start up Cho Enterprises.
The rest, as they say, is history.
