bio. 

A responsible and ambitious person by nature, Yongsun never stays still. She’s the girl you see volunteering in class discussions, leading the club meeting, juggling an internship, and starting assignments early—the one you suspect never has any fun. It’s a wonder she even has time to breathe, let alone socialize, but she seems hell bent on doing it all. Dolphins being highly social and intelligent creatures might explain her drive. Days are calculated down to the minute and events are scheduled weeks ahead of time. She prides herself on her keen sense of detail and planning, but most people would agree that Yongsun is a little bossy and a lot high strung. Being around her can be exhausting if you can’t keep up with her lifestyle.

She’s currently on her last lap of university and Yongsun plans on going out with her head held high. Earning high scores and maintaining a perfect GPA are her current priorities and nothing can stand her way if she could help it. Her future has already been envisioned her mind: an honorable career as an upstanding environmental attorney. Though she still has to brave the trials of law school, Yongsun is determined to face them down with the same strength and determination she’s always had. Unfortunately, her mind and body aren't so sure how long she can keep up her juggling routine. Years of balancing academics and multiple extracurriculars have begun taking a toll on both her health and friendships. Though it’s only a matter of time before she burns out, Yongsun stubbornly refuses to believe it will happen.

 

Appearance wise, Yongsun’s most notable feature is her smile. It’s not particularly charming (if anything it’s the opposite), but the fact that she has a series of tiny jagged teeth has been known to turn a few heads. And despite having a perfectly usable human nose, she also breathes through a tiny blowhole at the back of her neck that can open and close at will. Very rarely will she wear something that covers her neck, as it creates discomfort. When in contact with water, Yongsun’s skin will turn into a silvery grey and appear glossy, but it seems ordinary otherwise. Because of her species, she needs to consume fluids often or risk health problems—even death.

▪ She leads the school's speech and debate club, but it hasn't gained much traction.

▪ She ranks within the top ten of her class and plans to score number one before she graduates.

▪ She would have joined the swim team too, if it wasn't for her uneasiness around the sharks.

▪ She almost always carries around a water bottle.  Without proper hydration she gets dizzy.

▪ She has an obnoxious amount of relatives even though she is an only child.
