living a life with more pain than joy could ever repair, jung soojung has felt misery first-handed and faced death too often. her toddler years came fairly decent, admittedly better than one's should. but she was only three when she faced something no child should've -- loss. it was typical in panem, loss was all too common, but nonetheless painful. soohwa died for what soojung had always thought to be a stupid reason. the death caused a drift between her and her brother yonghwa, and the gap was widened when she moved to district two with her parents. facing her second loss at eight, in the end, only she and her father made it to two. the change in her father was obvious and as soon as they grew accustomed to their new home, she was harshly trained by her own father for the hunger games. part of soojung liked the power, part of her detested it and mourned for her mother and two brothers. in the midst of the tire and pain -- both emotion and physical, soojung was driven to insanity as she nearly lost herself to a new ego: krystal.

〈 ⋮ LUNACY

born innocent but raised to kill; if one was to ask soojung about where she saw herself in the future at the age of seven, she wouldn't say shedding blood in the cruelest games ever conceived. but she stands proud, tall, arrogant, bloodied -- she is born to rot in hell -- in the arenas as she stands over corpses. that's technically krystal, the strong, snarky, and fiery facade that hides the gracefulness and shy awkwardness that is jung soojung. krystal stands merciless and heartless as she finishes off her victims. with seemingly no fear and stable confidence, there is no limit as to what she will do. despite all this, she has the ability to remain calm through life-or-death situations. soojung, on the other hand, is endearingly awkward yet sweet. compassionate and thoughtful, innocent and shy. she can give off either a graceful or playful aura. krystal is the killer and soojung is the lover, krystal is the dominant and soojung the submissive. what happens to do completely different mindsets stuck in one body after death? do they both rot in hell, live on in heaven, or part ways? maybe they stay on earth for eternity. it's unknown, but who said krystal or soojung believed in that anyway?
 
 
〈 ⋮ DELUSION
 
heartless, mindless, merciless. krystal believes in agility and stamina over strength; her light frame allows her to move at a fast pace and due to her stamina, a constant one. with any weapon with the exception of ones made for brute force, krystal is at a large advantage given her knowledge of use, advantages, and disadvantages of most given weapons. she excels greatly with weapons, she learns their use well, uses them well, and can face them well. due to district two's factories, krystal has grown used to pollution such as smoke; she has strong lungs which results in her stamina. as her father was a victor from district three, krystal was taught electrocution and activation. this is something both soojung and krystal have the will to do.
 
 
〈 ⋮ PANIC
 
having trained more with close combat weapons, krystal has an undeniable weakness with long range. she can dodge just as well as she should be able to given her agility, but is extremely incompetent with weapons such as the bow and arrow as well as spears. along with being weak against long distance weapons, krystal is also unable wield heavy weapons similar to clubs. she also stands weak against both the heat and the cold, making her vulnerable to fevers in extreme weathers. she's also naturally ignorant towards other tributes, underestimating them and has too much confidence in herself. this causes her to be very picky with her alliances as well -- she settles solely for the best. very competitive as well, krystal detests losing and tends to try her hardest given a task no matter the consequences. rages in krystal's case, are fatal and the results are rarely well-off; she will blindly attack without thought of how it will affect others and will attack anyone. with a strong dislike for water, she refuses to enter large bodies of water that she cannot stand in. she also has a distaste in having major arteries or veins damaged.
 
 
〈 ⋮ POSTPONEMENT
 
growing in the cruelest districts of them all, krystal has trained with uncountable weapons and can deal with most. krystal and soojung have different views on the capitol as well as murder; krystal stands loyal to and supportive of the capitol and is a merciless killer while soojung detests the capitol and it's ways -- unable to kill, injure (either physically or emotionally) or touch a weapon at all. unfortunately, being the dominant, krystal calls the shots and soojung has no say, and if she tries it doesn't matter. her prized possession would probably be a leather bracelet gifted to her by her first and deceased brother soohwa; though it is usually hidden due to the print -- jung soojung -- it is always worn on her right wrist. the reason of the two egos is due to a mental disorder soojung was diagnosed with at the age of eleven, dissociative identity disorder in which one has at least two egos, and the switching is uncontrollable by the original personality.

when jongin showers krystal with brotherly love, otl. as for now, i feel proud with
