Raised deep in the humans' city, away from the dangerous eyes of the other supernaturals, Myungsoo was the youngest child of a water warlock and a diviner. Though granted with dominance over water and the ability to scry, he refrains from using his powers as much as possible due to his fear of the future. As a child, he foretold the wolves' attack on their village, which killed almost all of the inhabitants, as well as the murder of his elder brother at the hands of a kitsune; the terror of looking into such gruesome futures prevents him from ever scrying voluntarily. But sometimes the visions just come to him-when he glances at a mirror or even just a puddle on the street-and it just has to be told to the one who it is intended for. When Myungsoo was born, the town celebrated him as the eyes of the gods, but now, alone and tired, Myungsoo is forced to relay their visions of carnage.

After successfully escaping the massacre of his kind, he lived on the streets of the city. But the young child couldn't survive such harsh conditions alone; before the cruelty of winter could get to him, Myungsoo was saved by a warlock - one that was far more powerful than any in his village. Much older (than appearance as well) and experienced to no ends, Kim Minseok took him in as his son and raised him to assimilate within human society. A necessary defense mechanism, it seemed, as the warlocks and witches' numbers began to dwindle day by day. They were being hunted and to act - no, become - a human was survival.

For a while after leaving his childhood home, the warlock wandered, helping and learning on the way. In a blink of an eye, a century had passed. Another, and an empire had fallen. Another, and kingdoms arose. Soon, he realized that his life had no meaning because he didn't let it. Finding it his mission, Myungsoo found solace from immortality by delving into human mortality and serving as a medic soldier. He found thrill in teaching his ways to talented warlocks and time began to slow down for him. He was no longer a statue watching history...he was making it. But he remained a traveler, an appreciater of the ephemeral things. It was when he met Taecyeon that he decided, for once in his life, to stay. The Alpha's honorable nature and strength made the forever wandering warlock into a follower.

That was when he decided to be a teacher. Myungsoo had always loved Korean Literature, having been a part of its development in the past. It became his human cover as he sought out remaining warlocks for him to train. The city became a haven for orphaned or hybrid members of the magical, as Myungsoo's students began to increase.

Lots of things have happened since then. At first, Myungsoo was just a consultant for Taecyeon. And it turned into friendship (albeit sometimes shaky). He helped birth the head alpha and omega's latest litter. And he met Hyunsik. For the first time in nearly a decade, Myungsoo actually wanted to be with someone, not just in body but also in every way possible. He's scared that it'll be painful but for some reason, Myungsoo's trying harder at this than he's ever done at anything. He doesn't know where it's going, but maybe with Hyunsik, he won't care. The wolf has given him new meaning to his life (a new family too - shoutout to Chan <3).

His true occupation is a diviner and consultant for all sorts of supernatural beings. As his spirituality is revered and his predictions eerily accurate, Myungsoo is often sought out by those plagued with bad luck or powerful leaders facing dilemmas. He's always willing to help others...as long as the favor is repaid.

Personality-wise, Myungsoo is compassionate and cares deeply about those around him. His friends have described him as having a nurturing disposition, but truthfully, the warlock doesn't see it ^^. His family and students are the greatest priorities to him and he'd do anything for them. He's also very loyal, never hesitating to help those that he's pledged allegiance towards. However, he's always thoughtful - he's willing to burn lesser bridges for the people that he truly believes in.
