Mark was born with a slightly strang mutation that resulted in him having heterochromatic eyes. As a pup, he was the runt of the litter and had always been physically rather weak, however, he makes up for that with his loyalty and headstrong personality. When he was younger, his mom assumed Mark wouldn't be able to survive, and thus left Mark for dead in the middle of winter, taking her healthier pups with her. Subject to the wrath of many cruel predators, Mark had been about to die due to starvation when a vampire attempted an attack on him. Too weak to do anything, Mark was saved in the nick of time by a beautiful and strong wolf who took care of him like he was her own son. Being an only child to this mother wolf who had been cast out by her pack, she raised Mark alone and due to Mark's lack of interaction with other wolves, he naturally became more reclusive. When Mark grew to be a teenager, his mother, who had spent her entire life protecting and feeding Mark, grew sick and she passed away, leaving Mark alone. Ever since then, Mark has grown distant from other wolves and doesn't tend to interact much since he doesn't want to grow a bond with another wolf since all other wolves he met treated him like trash (with the exception of his adopted mom)
Mark is a solitary wolf and usually spends much of his time alone. When encountered with other wolves, he tends to be polite and respectful, but he normally acts cool and distant. He keeps away from other packs' territory and is a wanderer, often travelling alone and experiencing what the world has to offer by himself. Although he does feel lonely most of the time, he figures this solitary lifestyle is better for him than being attached to a pack.
