Born about a century ago, Jongjin had a silver spoon from the moment he came into the world. He was the heir and the most treasured of his parents before his younger brother came along, the spare to their linage. His relationship started to grow distant with the two people he cared so much for as they lathered attention on his brother, leaving him to spend time by himself every moment he was home. This in turn caused him to become more introverted, he started to smoke, got tattoos but rarely got into any serious trouble. His life changed completely though when one night, while he was out for fresh air in the garden he was suddenly attacked and left to bleed out. By chance, when he was on the brink of death, he was turned by a vampire who had thought it pitiful for such a beautiful but broken man to die. .
His one motive in life was to find out who could have cold-heartedly left him for dead when he found it was his brother. The young teenager who he had cared for deep down in his heart. Once he learned of this betrayal, he came back to confront his brother when he came upon the sight of their burnt down home, with bodies laying in the ashes. Believing that they were now dead, without closure and now a hot wave of anger with the reason of avenging his family, he searched day and night for the person. But with no leads or clues, he slowly started to lose himself even more. He found over time, that he didn’t mind giving ual favors in return for blood while his bloodlust grew. He went from city to city, luring prey into his carefully weaved web until he got bored of how easily they came. So he settled down as a tattoo artist in the city, not knowing that he had entered Taecyeon's territory until one day he was confronted and warned not to harm the petty humans.
