Small background:

Jongdae was the lone beta in a family of alphas. He was also born with OCD. Obsessed with order and everything being clean its no wonder some people didn't understand him. So that was the second strike. The third strike that just got him kicked from the family, he was still unmated. Mainly because he wasn't looking. He didn't want to be mated with someone of his family's choice. So to him it was either leaving on his own his parents being mad at him. Or mate with someone picked for him. He chose the first. He left on his own, and unintentionally got a job at the public library. He was irritated to no end to the fact that the librarians wouldn't order things right so he went and cleared the shelves off and put everything back where it was supposed to go.

He is kind of an interovert. He will talk to people but he finds it difficult to start conversations without sounding incredibly awkward. He feels kind of the same way that others feel about him because frankly he doesn't understand people, he tries but he just doesn't. it was basically because kf his sheltering. His parents didn't really allow him outside of the family compound in fear he would find an omega instead of an alpha..it was bad enough that he was a beta, they wanted him to mate with an alpha. He left on his own he was incredibly terrified but he wasn't going to let his parents dictate his life. 

He lives i n a small apartment across the street from the library on his own, he's still not looking for a mate either. He is a firm believer that if he's supposed to have a mate the other would find him if it came down to it. Whether he wanted to admit it, he was a hopeless romantic. He believes in love he just plans on waiting for the right moment (and know if the person understands his needs because of his condition.)
