When Chanyeol was little his parents let him roam free, and
use his powers and tentacles as he wanted. They believed
that raising him this way would give him greater control of
both things. However, when he was four years old, his uncle
killed a human girl and his powers were revealed to the world. In
an attempt to protect their son, Chanyeol's parents bound his
powers and made him forget they ever existed. He lived a normal
life, believing himself to be nothing extraordinary until his parents
were killed in a car crash. Their death caused his magic to be
freed and one day when he took a shower, he suddenly found four
tentacles sprouting from his hips. After the initial scare he began
trying to find out what the hell was going on. The answers left him
feeling incredibly betrayed by his parents since they had kept this part
of him a secret his entire life, never deeming the time right to tell
him. Now he is struggling to get a hold on his abilities, to figure out
how to use them and, more importantly, how to hide them.

After the discovery, Chanyeol began keeping to himself,
afraid what other people would think if they know what he really
is. He is not easy to get close to, his parents' betrayal
making him very cautious of other people. However, once you
break the hard shell, you will find a nice guy with a big heart,
who is just trying to find out who he is.
