Godfrey Gao plays an important role in governing his kingdom. With a role as governor, Godfrey tends to be stuck in his office 24/7. Despite this, he makes sure to interact with his kingdom also. Although he is now very independent, Godfrey wasn’t always that way. Back when he was close to reaching 30 but not quite, Godfrey had a loving spouse. Along with that wife was a wonderful unborn child waiting to approach the world. Godfrey loved his wife but the world seemed to think otherwise. With the war between the kingdoms present in his days, Godfrey struggled to keep his wife and child company. this caused depression and anxiety within his wife, thus breaking their relationship.
Godfrey decided that, and in-order to please his wife, he must take time off from office, despite pressing orders of the emperor and the war. This idea was thought wonderful by his family but the war continued to defeat his kingdom, thus throwing him back into his office, unaware of the pain it had caused his wife.
When Godfrey reached 29, his spouse became deathly ill which caused their child to become still born. this struck Godfrey with despair and guilt. He became a hermit within his office, even though his wife was on the verge of being in death’s grip. many of his fellow co workers told him to reach his wife before it was too late, but Godfrey ignored the pleads of his friends. godfrey could no longer be within the vicinity of his wife without becoming depressed.
Before Godfrey could reach 30, his wife passed. the guilt he had felt increased and his character became secluded in the darkness that soon consumed his being. Godfrey thought he could not live anymore and attempted to poison himself, but was soon saved by the nurses of the kingdom. Godfrey Gao became a mess and shut himself away from society, covering himself in mountains of paperwork from the war that once was. Godfrey Gao was broken within himself, and he believed that being the governor was all that he could be.
o2: break: Godfrey has been tense sinse day one about his role. and when he is given a day off for his hard work, godfrey can't help but stray towards his desk in thought of more work. work work work is all that is in his mind. what do you do to relieve his tenseness?
o3: golden rule: treat others as you wish to be treated. godfrey followed this from day one but he can't seem to treat you with kindness. despite his personality, godfrey hates you with a passion and doesn't hesitate on reminding you of it everytime you and him meet up.

+Winging. If you wish to wing our plotting then it is alright to do that. i mainly don't like to wing because I like a concrete wall or plot to fall on if it does not work out. When winging,I expect ideas from you also. if you ask me what should we wing about and don't give any ideas for your prefernces then I won't hesitate to tell you. give ideas! i'm open to ideas and we can make it work.
+Don't be scared to tell me no. if i ask to roleplay with you and you do not wish to for whatever reason then it is fine.
+ Know your character. if i ask you about your character's personality or their backstory, I expect a pretty good response. If your character's personality is on your profile then feel free to tell me.
+i don't appreciate getting asked to rp and you do not dedicate yourself to it.
+don't ignore my replies just because you found someone better to roleplay with. if you wish to drop our roleplay then tell me, i will not feel hurt.
+ if you ask me to roleplay with you, you start. don't ask me to start because I won't. unless it is vice versa where I come to you to roleplay and I will start.
+don't come here with one liners and expect me to respond because I won't.
+Don't facechase me or ask me to do with you right off the bat. i'm not open to do any of that until the realtionship has progressed through.
+ I mainly do 3rd pov but I can do 1st pov if it makes you more comfortable.
+timezone: -6 Central Time. sometimes I do not come on because I'm busy or I need a break from the internet or im sick (rarely) lol.
+ Feel free to fix my roleplaying skills because it helps me get better. just don't bash it but rather help it.
