Fluent in Thai, Knows some English, now trying to tackle Korean

Poor servant boy

  Gavin is a poor servant and farm hand, who can't even read or write.  Thing is, he is the son of royalty and a CEO.  His mom is Thai-Chinese and a CEO of a skincare and vitamin brand in Thailand.  His dad was the youngest Prince in a royal family on a small island country.  However, his dad got disowned for falling in love with his mom, a Thai person and non-royal.

Gavin was a mistake, though, as they didn't plan for children, and his mom didn't want a child at all, afraid it would mess up her career.  So, Gavin's dad did all the baby stuff (feeding, diapers, etc.) This caused arguments, and one day, his mom just left. Despite no longer being royal, Gavin's dad had the intentions to educate Gavin like a rich boy would be educated. He even taught him some English when he was younger.  Gavin's dad ended up falling in love with a poor/lower-middle class (class status depends on family's current circumstances] Korean man and marrying him.  

Then, well basically, if you know the story of CInderella, you know what happened next. Dad passes, Stepdad and step siblings are pricks, etc.  Gavin lost everything at a young age.  His stepfamily took him and they moved to Korea, and Gavin was locked away and forced to be a servant, and never allowed to go to school or learn.  He still speaks his home language, Thai, and knows a little Mandarin (like one or two words from his mom), and knows some English from what little daddy was able to teach him, and he is now trying to grasp Korean in this new country.
