Bae joohyun's life is not as perfect as everyone thinks. joohyun was given up as an infant way before she was able to have her first birthday. luckily, however, she was adopted by an american couple, who was desperately wanting a child of their own, but unfortunately was not able to have one soon enough. but that was okay as they loved joohyun like no other. she was their perfect gem stone. to help joohyun remember her heritage, her new parents changed her name to irene and kept her last name. the reason being is like mentioned they wanted to preserve her roots, but also to remind her that she was special due to the fact that they chose her.
Growing up as an american was like a dream for irene. She was pampered as she was the only child of her parents. she was put into a performing arts school and in an instant she fell in love with music. To be more specific, she was in love with dancing. She loved how majestic and cool everyone looked as they danced. hence, she was put into ballet class right away when her parents knew of her interest.
irene was considered a very great dancer. she was not the best student, but she was always very great as her body was flexible and that helped her moved quite gracefully. She never made her parents ever so proud.
Growing up just like any other adoptee, irene was curious of her biological parents and would often wonder why they gave her up. this thought led her to the decision of moving to korea to find out who her real parents are. of course her family supported and offered to give her money, but irene declined wanting to be independent for once in her life. instead she requested to change her name back to joohyun and moved to korea.
life in korea was quite hard as joohyun had a very weak grasp of korean. fortunately, joohyun was a very fast learner and was able to learn the language in two years of vigorously studying. she was able to graduate highschool in korea with very high scores and was accepted into her dream university "Steele". she joined as a dance major and is currently tutoring and working as a street performer on the side.
Bae joohyun may be described as a very witty and cheerful person. Her only flaws are that she can be a bit blunt and a bit too playful. she likes to tease and loves to make new friends. don't be afraid to talk to her.
