Bio: Jongin was born and raised in Iceland, not far from Lake Mývatn. He spent his childhood jumping out from behind bushes in his many attempts to startle the ducks, and leaning over the edge of his father's boat as he eagerly awaited the tugging of a fish hooked on the other end of his rod. Life was simple growing up. He'd only ever visited Korea once to visit his mother's relatives in Seoul, and he'd sworn that he would never return. He didn't like the sound of car horns or the feeling of being lost in a crowd of people every time he stepped outside, and he especially didn't like how thick and polluted the air was in comparison to that of his home. Eight year old Jongin swore that he would never return to such a crowded, overwhelming country like Korea, but eighteen year old Jongin wanted to study the earth that he'd grown up on and was so enamoured with, and he wanted to do so at a top university. So back to Korea he went, mostly because his parents wanted him to be near his relatives and, sadly, none of them lived in the States.

Upon returning to Korea, Jongin thought that he might actually enjoy it a lot more than the first time. Maybe his eight year old self just couldn't understand the excitement of a loud, over-crowded city. But he still hates it. Even after two years of being here, he still hates it.

He likes the coffee though. There aren't any fancy coffee shops on Lake Mývatn.
