Born in a family of wealth and fame, Nam Woohyun has always had a pretty easy up bringing. His family treasured him to the very core and he wasn’t pressured by anything family related. Needless to say, he grew up bright and happy. As a child, he was polite to the very core, knowing how to make people around him proud and happy. His manners were on point, he got excellent grades but he lacked real friends or companions. Throughout elementary and middle school was just him to get people to like him, to accept him as he fears to be alone, and of rejection. His family was proud of him, proud of the child they had raised so perfectly. Woohyun was always on such a high pedestal for them. He was above everything else and in that sense, kinda made Woohyun happy. Yet Woohyun has never really felt a connection between his parents. He respects them and their work dearly, but he feels like he doesn’t really connect with them well. That they aren't that close. He was never really happy at home. Sure he was treated well and everyone had loved him, but he wasn't happy. He felt like he was living for his parents, not for himself.
In his first year of high school, he had decided to leave his family behind, the home he grew up in and to live alone in a small but cozy apartment that was close by to the high school he had decided to start attending. He wasn’t finically struggling, however, his parents had always given him more than enough. But due to the overwhelming respect that he has for his parents, he doesn’t use it for anything other than living expenses. He pays for his own food and needs. Throughout his first year of high school, Woohyun had suddenly found an interest in music. Singing in particular and throughout his entire school years, all he did was sing. After finally being the perfect child for his parents, he was ecstatic after finding something he could finally live for. Music.
Now, Woohyun is in his third and final year of high school. He still has plenty of friends, that rich aura had never really left him, so he assumes that none of his friends are actually ‘friends’. He can be pretty chill when you first meet him and he act like he doesn’t care a lot of times but on the inside, he still craves attention, he still fears rejection and being alone, just like the small child within him had felt. He still keeps high grades, but he wants to spend more time on living a life he wants, rather than living for his parents. He is incredibly talkative and cheesy in public, learning how to talk and please people during his younger ages had definitely carried through. Yet when it’s close to people, he doesn’t talk much, rather enjoying the company and silence with them. He does do a few reckless things, things that his parents won’t be too happy with him if they had found out, but overall he is still a very sweet boy, trying to find his way through life.
