Welcome to Afterlife Inc. Please have a seat. Being dead can take some getting used to. Based on your life we will assign you to either the north, "heaven" is probably what you know it as, or the south, "hell". Do not become anxious or uneasy by this. Your placement is purely for the best interest of yourself and people as a whole. Do you enjoy gambling and adultery? The south is nowhere near short of casinos and brothels. Would you rather live in a society free of crime? The north is the safest place not on Earth. Whether you enjoy crystal clear waterfalls to soak in or rather drown yourself in alcohol there is no judgement. Going North or South does not make you any less of a person.

 

If you're interested, you can also be placed into Afterlife Inc. We have an office in the north and the south. Here we bridge the gap between our world and Earth. We help the newly deceased adjust to their new lifestyle. Northerners, more commonly known as "angels", alternate often from Earth and the north. They blend in with the population and grow close to their assigned humans. When they die it helps to have a familiar friendly face to ease the transition. The same applies to the southerners, the "demons", as well.

 

Sadly, at the moment we are understaffed, so not everyone that passes on will be greeted with a familiar face. The job is a tough one. You have to watch people go through their lives knowing exactly when and where they'll die, but are unable to tell them.
