Magic is shunned in Etheraria, the practice of witchcraft is punishable by death. With the strong presence of the church, the laws are strict and carried out swiftly and without mercy. When her father died, Queen Evangeline took the throne without a husband by her side. The neighboring Kingdom of Serakin sought to take advantage of the young queen and attacked on the night of her coronation. The war has been raging for almost two years with no headway on either side. The queen has since been married to a man who she despises and been entagled in a dangerous web of lies with the pope. A new threat from a witch within the kingdom has arose. One much more powerful and mad than any who came before. How will the kingdom survive the turmoil? Will the lies come to light and destroy all that had taken so long to build? Medieval gender roles are respected. This rp will have a dark tone. Magic is discouraged as only a few people are able to use it. The number of upper class are limited. Please ask before giving your character a title. Please be at least semi literate. We expect characters to have depth and purpose.
