refers to the basic guidelines of the group. those guidelines are as follows.
one. favoriting and upvoting are both mandatory prior to reserving your character. if you, for some reason, cannot upvote, let us know in the comment section.
two. absolutely no ooc drama will be tolerated at all. if you feel uncomfortable for any reason, come to the admins privately, and we will handle the issue as promptly as possible.
three. this is an au, oc roleplay in which your characters are not idols or celebrities. please keep all ooc speak in brackets or within the confines of pm or the rooms provided. no fourth wall breaking.
four. keep all in appropriate places (rated rooms, pm, etc) and absolutely no ually explicit photos are to be shared in rooms.

one. the inactivity sign will show up after five days. you will have one warning to be active within 24 hours. if the sign shows up again, you will be removed.
two. you are required to gain 50 points within the first five days. we have plenty of ways to do this, spamming any of the rooms in order to acquire points is not one of them.
three. threads, general roleplaying, and event participation are all expected. mandatory activity checks will be conducted.
four. hiatuses last for a maximum of two weeks. you must give us a return date when you request one. requests are only valid through the hiatus request room and will not be honored in any other capacity.
five. pm an admin if you're leaving. do not comment on the rp or simply disappear.

for centuries, the gods have ruled their realm from the safety of mount olympus. aside from their petty bickering, which history has taught us , they lived in peace. we know of their many visits to the human realm throughout the duration of their rule, but they never once suspected they would find refuge within it.
however, even seemingly omnipotent forces may have their existence endangered by those stronger, more ancient, and seeking domination over them. the titans have escaped their imprisonment in tartarus, and have lain the realm of the gods to ruins, from the underworld to mount olympus. the gods' only hope was to flee to the human realm, lest they be destroyed with it.
that was half a century ago now, and the gods have since adapted to human life rather well. residing in the charming, small town of ivywood. shortly after the move, the gods constructed their own, little haven: moira gardens, a luxury apartment system that is their sanctuary and new home. though immortal, the gods have been living (seemingly) ordinary, human lives for the better part of fifty years, and have become modernized and well adjusted to mundane society (for the most part, at least.) although it is forbidden to use their powers, lest they draw unwanted attention from their titanic predators from the realm of the gods, you may still find a handful who don't mind bending the rules ever so often. welcome to moira gardens, gods and goddesses alike, and never fear: you are safe here.
iris is an apartment + small town oc au with a mythological twist: every member of the roleplay is a deity . the apartment is based in the town of ivywood, which is fictional, located in a fictional country in order to allow for the most varied of faceclaims and characters. it is implied that all characters would, obviously , speak the same language as they originate from the same place: the realm of the gods, and take the form they choose. we aspire to be a friendly and welcoming roleplay for all that enjoy the aesthetics and cozy vibe of a small town au, but have a love for greek mythology, come join us!
